BGP On Cilium – Online Lab

Over the past few weeks, I have been working on the hands-on platform for the Isovalent labs. We’ve been using Instruqt for this and I have been pretty impressed. Having been involved in running hands-on workshops for most of my career, I am a big fan of the Git-based approach to developing labs. We also used while I was at HashiCorp and it makes building labs easy for creators and attending labs fun for participants (well, assuming you think BGP is fun).

Anyway, the good news is: we’ve just published a “Getting Started with BGP on Cilium” lab here!

It’s pretty much based on the same script I based my demo on. I’ve got lots of great feedback on the video (thanks!) so I am glad folks can now test for themselves in a guided hands-on lab.

I also wanted to thank the folks at containerlab – we couldn’t have built the online lab without their platform.

Go and have a try. Let me know how you get on.
